Kenwood washing machine error codes
Kenwood washing machine E01
This error code indicates that your washing machine door isn’t shut properly. If you don’t hear a click when you close the door and the code persists you should arrange for a visit from an appliance repair technician.
Kenwood washing machine E02
Your washing machine has detected low water pressure which may be due to a mains water supply issue. This will cause your appliance to cut off automatically during its cycle.
Kenwood washing machine E03
A faulty pump or blocked pump filter will cause this error code to display. Electrical connections to the pump may also be defective and will need inspecting.
Kenwood washing machine E04
When an excessive amount of water is detected your washing machine should automatically pump it out. If this doesn’t happen you’ll need expert help to get this resolved.
Kenwood washing machine E10
This is an inlet water problem detected while washing which may be caused by an obstructed or damaged hose, a blocked filter in the inlet valve, or water pressure that’s too low.
Kenwood washing machine E12
This is again related to a water overflow problem and may require resetting of your washing machine. Alternatively, the problem could be with the water inlet valve, the water level sensor or the control switch.
Kenwood washing machine E21
When your washing machine has detected a water drainage problem during the cycle this could be due to a blocked or defective drain pump, an obstructed drain hose, or issues with the PCB.
Kenwood washing machine E30
A door lock issue will trigger this code and indicates that the door isn’t closed securely. The door latch assembly, the door switch, and the door lock may need to be checked in case any parts have to be repaired or replaced. If your washer door won’t unlock this could be a problem with the PCB.
Kenwood washing machine error code E33
This shows that the PCB is unable to detect a signal of the water level sensor. The fault could lie with the water level sensor itself or the wiring connection may be faulty.
Kenwood washing machine E34
A temperature sensor failure is a reason for this error code and the temperature sensor may be faulty or broken and need replacing.
Kenwood washing machine error code E60
When the motor won’t drive this code will display and both the motor and the PCB will need to be investigated by a qualified engineer.
Kenwood washing machine E61
When the PCB cannot get a speed transmission signal this error code will show. The fault will lie between the PCB and the motor and both components will need to be tested for communication levels.
Kenwood washing machine E62
This is typically caused by a broken triac resulting in an abnormal speed transmission signal. The speed-transmit line of the motor and the motor communication wire will need to be tested for failure.
